Letting Go

Paco Fralick

Paco's music is a unique blend of country, folk, pop, and Native Americana.

Paco is a contemporary Ojibwe singer / songwriter from Northern Wisconsin. The songs on this album, written over a span of thirty years, contain powerful lyrics that touch on subjects such as alcoholism, homelessness, environmental activism, and seven-generation thinking, as well as other subjects close to his heart. Many of the song were inspired by his dreams.

The lyrics are complimented by his unique style of acoustic guitar as well as many other accomplished musicians on this album including Grammy nominated flute player, Peter Phippen, Mike Somerville (formerly from the band Head East), and Michael Bucher, three time NAMMY winner.

The instrumentation is as diverse as the genre and the subject matter including traditional and contemporary percussion, a string quartet, Native flute, electric sitar, piano, harmonica, dobro, B3 organ, fiddle and mandolin among other instruments.
